A new BC Transit online platform will allow transit riders to provide more feedback for improving the transit experience and services.
Through BC Transit’s Voice of the Rider platform, BC Transit riders or those who live where BC Transit operates will be able to provide feedback on featured, current, completed and upcoming projects of the provincial transit service. Eligible and interested individuals can register on the engage.bctransit.com platform using a valid email address.
The rider’s voice is split into two platforms; engagement projects and passenger satisfaction/marketing surveys. Engagement Projects provide information on all ongoing infrastructure projects in the form of maps, surveys and open forums, allowing visitors to track a project’s completion from start to finish and share their comments throughout, according to a statement from BC Transit.
Rider/Marketing Satisfaction Surveys are five- to 10-minute surveys designed to help BC Transit make more informed decisions about improving the overall transit experience for current and potential riders.
“BC Transit believes that to better understand riders and potential riders, the organization must better connect with communities and ensure that customer feedback is an even greater factor in future business decisions,” a statement said. .
