Customization platform Cooee raises pre-seed funding

May 3, 2022

In the UK, personalization platform Cooee has raised £300,000 in a pre-seed funding round, which it will use for further product development, to increase the reach of e-commerce stores and to launch an augmented reality (AR) version of its product.

Founded in 2020, Cambridge-based Cooee uses AR, computer vision and machine learning to personalize experiences for every customer in real time. Users can provide personalized in-app and push notifications; engage visitors and convert them into customers; and view relevant analytics. Cooee’s AI predicts user action and engages individually, learning from every customer interaction.

The pre-seed round was led by Jenson Funding Partners, with participation from several angel investors in the US, India and the UK. Cooee CEO and Founder Shwetank Tamer (pictured) comments, “We created Cooee with a mission to make data-driven user engagement for e-commerce possible, affordable and effective. Customers expect customization by default, but most mobile apps struggle with multiple platforms, skills, and technologies, and are therefore unable to engage and delight. Just a 5% increase in retention can lead to an 80% increase in revenue, Cooee makes this possible.”
