DSEJ Holds 15 Day Online Creative Writing Workshop for Students and Teachers – India Education | Latest Education News | Global education news
JAMMU: To give them the opportunity to showcase their creative writing skills and to further develop them, the second ‘fifteen-day online literary workshop’ in four languages, Hindi, Dogri, Urdu and Gojri was inaugurated for students. and teachers by the director of school education, Jammu Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, here today. The inaugural event brought together a large number of teachers and students.
A similar online literary workshop was organized by the School Education Authority, Jammu last year, offering many talented writers and poets among teachers and government students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the field.
Two of the teachers from last year’s workshop, Ranjay Kumar (Speaker) and Chaman Lal (Teacher), who established themselves as creative writers, were among the resource persons of the current workshop and shared their experiences of the workshop of the previous year.
In his inaugural address, the director stressed the need to introduce different sets of skills and teacher training and instill moral values ââin students and make them good human beings by developing good literary taste, in addition routine studies.
He also referred to the National Education Policy 2020, which provides for teaching students in their mother tongue so that they do not forget their rich cultural and linguistic heritage.
Focusing on exhibiting creative writing and learning skills, DSEJ said there was an urgent need to encourage students to exercise their creative minds and use their powers of imagination.
The welcome and opening speech was presented by Surjit Singh, I / C Cellule Culturelle et Education DSEJ.
Supriya Sharma, member of the Culture and Education Unit DSEJ team, led the work of the program.
Monika Khosla, member of the Culture and Education Unit, DSEJ presented the Vote of Thanks.

The ongoing workshop brought together several resource people, including Keerti Thakur, Ajay Anant, Vipan Upadhyay, Kavita Dutt, Babu Bhatti, Romesh Banjalvi, Anwar Khan, Rinki Mahajan, Jan Mohammad Hakim, Dr. Kuldip Dogra, Bharat Bhushan, Anuradha Sharma , Ranjay Kumar, Dr. Jia Lal, Dr Purshottam Jamwal.
