Girls in grades two through eight of the Shluchim Office’s Nigri Shluchim Online School have distributed over 200 Matzahs around the world as part of a pre-Passover “Mission Matzah.”
“Mission Matzah was amazing,” said Chaya Jacobson of Punta Gorda, Florida. “It was so special to see the happiness on people’s faces when we came to give them Matzah!”
Before Passover, the girls were challenged to distribute 120 Matzah in total in honor of the Rebbe’s 120th birthday. The goal was to reach and inspire Jews in their own communities on Shlichus. The students took the program to the next level by handing out a total of over 200 Matzahs, forging many new connections and giving so many Jews the opportunity to have Shmurah Matzah.
“I had so much fun going out and meeting new people,” said Zelda Greenberg from Wichita, Kansas. “Most of everyone I gave matzah to, I didn’t know them. Now I know more people than ever, more than when I distributed Shalach Manos! »
Special thanks to Bnos Chabad After School Program Managers, Doba Brikman and Chana Kosofsky, led by Associate Director Morah Devora Leah Notik for organizing and managing this beautiful program.
