Launch of online rental training for…

An online property training service has launched a specialized course in property management, which it says goes “beyond the law”.
The Certificate in Rental Advice and Practice aims to train property managers in compliance, sales skills and customer service, which meets the requirements of the Ofqual regulated CeLAP qualification. It takes between eight and nine months and is managed by The Able Agent.
The trainer says the new qualification works for an agency using its platform for existing tuition.
Director Charlotte Jeffrey-Campbell says, “At a time when much of the workforce is moving between sectors, the presence of well-trained, flexible staff capable of fulfilling roles at all levels must be positive for the agent and the agency.
“This module has been designed to support property managers operating at all levels. Maximizing opportunities in all areas of the business, increasing costs and getting more instruction is key to growing the business, and we are delighted to include this training for this new qualification as part of the subscription to The Able Agent.
In a statement announcing the new qualification, Mark Towell – chief learning and development coach at Andrews Property Group – is quoted as saying: “This training fits well into Andrews’ overall team training plan. Addressing specifically the knowledge and skills needed in a property management role is a great addition, and another qualification is extremely valuable to us and our agents.
