MediBuddy announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Clinix, an online medical consultation platform specializing in rural India. According to the company’s press release, MediBuddy’s acquisition of Clinix will help them further develop their operations and expand their services to the interiors of rural India.
Clinix would have set up a training system for locals by teaching them the procedures for booking medical consultations online. Additionally, they have set up kiosks in several localities which basically function as an online clinic, where individuals can consult a doctor online for their primary health care needs with the help of the facilitator, he said. .
