Nintendo’s one-year Switch Online subscriptions are getting a rare price drop via Amazon to $18.50

Update: Amazon is once again offering individual 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions for $18.60 with free digital delivery. The details are as follows.
We’re now tracking a rare price drop on individual Switch Online 12-month subscriptions through Amazon. You can now land a year for $18.59 with free digital delivery. It’s not a huge drop in price from the normal $20 price tag, but we don’t see them going on sale very often and certainly not on Amazon. It can be used to participate for the first time or to extend your existing subscription at a reduced price. While we’ve seen options as part of BOGO’s 15% off sales elsewhere, the individual Switch Online hasn’t really seen a noticeable price drop over the holidays last year, making it a noticeable chance of entering or scoring an extension. More details below.
Not only does a Switch Online subscription bring multiplayer action to your setup, but also access to the NES and SNES digital game libraries. While you need the more expensive expansion pass to access the N64 (Zelda Major’s Mask has just been added) and SEGA content, not to mention the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe courses, the standard sub gets you to halfway and brings a ton of extra classic games to your rig for just over $18.50 today.
We’re also still tracking the lowest price yet on next month’s release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land alongside the latest eShop sale from $8. Just be sure to check out our games roundup for all the best deals on Switch games any day of the week.
