The online school pledges auction is a chance to get a good deal and help raise much-needed funds.

Sidmouth PTFA Primary School is one week away from its online pledge auction, which went online on Friday, June 25. The auction offers a wide variety of promises and items to bid on, including: reflexology treatments, massages, luxury food and children’s baskets, music lessons, family outings, vouchers. purchase and more.

Fundraising for the school has been difficult over the past year as the PTFA has not been able to organize the usual Christmas and spring school fairs. So the group decided that an online auction might be the way to go.

Claire Housden, President of PTFA, said: “We are very excited about the auction and hope that it will raise tremendous funds for the school. In such difficult times, people and businesses have been so fabulously generous, we cannot thank them enough.
“It would not have been possible to organize the event without the fantastic support from local businesses, teachers and parents, all of whom showed incredible support.

“This is a great opportunity for you to get involved and bid on items for birthday presents, gifts, even Christmas presents ahead of time or maybe just a treat for yourself.
