Otobank’s audiobook.jp launches audiobook subscription service for business sector

Otobank has announced the launch of an audiobook subscription service aimed at the business sector, Japan.Cnet reported. The company said the subscription service, audiobook.jp, now offers an all-you-can-eat plan that employees can listen to whenever and wherever they want. This should be a book for those who enjoy reading or listening to the book read to them. Audiobook.jp currently has over 10,000 audiobooks on its reels.
It can also be a great way for employees to beat stress and return to work fresh and active. It can also be ideal for those who love books but just don’t have time to read. They can still listen to the stories whenever they are free. Employers, however, will be able to monitor the usage status of employees and hence can use the same platform to pursue an employee training program as well. The latter element is actually deemed beneficial given that most companies have shifted to online training mode during the pandemic period.
Many companies have already been testing an audiobook service for their employees since 2021 and have found the results quite overwhelming, enough to generalize. Not only are companies eagerly waiting to expand the service, but they are also using it as a way to distribute educational materials for training purposes.
The standard all-you-can-eat plan is available at 880 yen per person while the enterprise plan is available at a 3% discount.
With a keen interest in technology, I make it a point to keep up to date with the latest developments in the world of technology and gadgets. This includes smartphones or tablets, but even extends to AI and self-driving automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. In addition to writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music or experimenting with different recipes. Cinema is another aspect that interests me a lot and maybe I will make a film in the future.
