Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to register and re-register for the January 2022 session for several programs offered by the university. Students who wish to register can do so by visiting the official IGNOU website, ignou.ac.in.

As per the official notification released by IGNOU, the deadline to apply for the online, ODL and re-register programs for the January 2022 session at the University has been extended to November 12 and 30, 2021 respectively. The official notification can be downloaded from ignou.ac.in.

Applicants should note that the deadline extension is applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by IGNOU. Applicants also have the option of registering or re-registering through the official IGNOU, Samarth student portal.

IGNOU session January 2022: How to register, re-register

Step 1: Visit the official IGNOU website, ignou.ac.in or ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

2nd step: Create your login credentials or log in with your existing login and password.

Step 3: Complete the registration or re-registration request form.

Step 4: Complete the fee payment and click Submit.

Step 5: Download and print the form for future reference.

Applicants are advised to attach all required documents in the application forms, as instructed by the university. In the event of a discrepancy in your documents, IGNOU will contact you and take the necessary measures.
