STATS PERFORM AND BIRKBECK UNIVERSITY OFFER ONLINE FOOTBALL ANALYSIS COURSE THIS SPRING

LONDON, April 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — For the fourth consecutive year, Stats Perform has partnered with Birkbeck, University of Londonto provide a dedicated football analysis module as part of the university’s MSc Football Sport and Business Management.
Launching next week, at the start of the 2022 summer semester, this online module features weekly lectures led by industry professionals with direct experience in implementing data and analytical processes in sport.

Over the course of eight weeks, the course will provide an introduction to basic analytical approaches and concepts relevant to the professional football industry, with particular emphasis on the application of these concepts in day-to-day work and in long-term strategic planning. . .
During the semester, students will be introduced to different analytical technologies, the value of qualitative and quantitative data, data visualization, and best practices for applying data in a range of football performance and football business scenarios.
The module will start on Tuesday 26 April and is also available for industry professionals wishing to enroll in a short course.
