Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Jidin said that one of the major factors hampering the Ministry of Education’s efforts to repair dilapidated schools is that the land on which the schools are located is not under the Director General of Lands and of mines, federal. Mohd Radzi said Sabah and Sarawak are among the states where many school land properties have not been transferred.
