Walmart’s next restock is the first-ever restock of the PS5 Standard Edition and Digital Edition consoles for the month of June.
PS5 Restock
Although the PS5 has been debuting for quite a while now since it first saw the light of day in November 2020, its stocks remain scarce these days.
As a result, PS5 restocks have become a highly anticipated event, one that gaming fans – as well as scalpers – have been eagerly anticipating.
Supply of the latest PlayStation has become relatively low, not thanks to the raging chip crisis and hoarders. On the other hand, the demand for Sony consoles continues to soar.

Sony’s Playstation 5 logo is seen at an electronics store in Tokyo on November 10, 2020, ahead of the game console’s scheduled November 12 release.
So the notoriously limited PS5 supply is struggling to keep up with customers who have been waiting to get their hands on it for two years now.
On top of that, Sony recently admitted that the ongoing PS5 supply issues aren’t likely to stabilize this year.
According to a recent report from Game Rant, the Japanese tech giant predicts that all the supply chain mess will likely affect PS5 inventory well into 2024.
Walmart PS5 Restocking June 2
Giant retailer, Walmart, is restocking its PS5 console shelves on June 2, Thursday, at 3 p.m. sharp, Eastern Time, according to a USA Today report.
This gives Walmart customers a rare chance to pick up the flagship PS5 console, which comes with a disc drive for a retail price of $499.

It’s worth noting that PS5 consoles are available elsewhere online via a few scalpers, but they come at stratospheric prices.
On the other hand, retailers like Walmart and GameStop have been giving their customers the opportunity to pick up one of the hottest game consoles for its original price since its launch in 2020.
Unlike the recent PS5 restock at GameStop, which forces customers to line up at their physical stores, Walmart is selling the sought-after consoles online.
The website for restocking is already in place, but it has not yet opened for orders.

Walmart+ subscription: do you need it?
The PS5 restock is exclusively available to Walmart+ subscribers.
That said, shoppers will need to sign up for the service to place their orders for the next restock. It only costs about $13 per month.
Walmart+ is not just for restocking the PS5, it also offers great discounts for other products.
